Parameter What it controls
Stick Scale Overall strength of the sticking effect.
Max Distance Maximum distance from the collision surface where sticking can affect particles.
Stick Bias Controls how the sticking influence is biased.
Normal Scale Controls the sticking effect perpendicular to the surface.
Tangent Scale Controls the sticking effect along the surface.

💡 TIP: Normal Scale controls how much the FLIP sticks into/out of the surface, while Tangent Scale controls how much it follows the surface along it.

Normal = toward/away

Tangent = along

💡 TIP2 : Control Field lets you use a field to control where or how strongly sticking is applied instead of applying the same sticking behavior everywhere.

That makes it useful for spatially varying adhesion — for example, making some parts of a surface sticky and others slippery.
